SANTA CRUZ SURFBOARDS G-DECK SKYWALKER With a skateboard like kick tail and a cambered platform deck the G-deck’s foot positions create more power, control, better angles and comfort in tight turning situations. The G-deck has the same amount of board in different more functional places. This design isn’t meant to float any better, but to have a thinner rail with equal volume. The benefits of a thinner rail are that of sensitivity, bite, speed and release.  With the G-deck’s platform out near the rail, it still has the needed stability to pull black out inducing G-Force. Our team calls this design the skateboard on water. We call it the G-deck Skywalker.
